You'll find a rich collection of art and objects of historical importance that date from Fribourg's origins to the present day in the museum.

The Ratze Palace houses the biggest Swiss collection of sculptures from the first half of the 16th century.

In the former slaughterhouse, you'll find work by Delacroix, Courbet, Marcello, Hodler, Crotti, and Tinguely.

Many temporary exhibitions.

Open: Tu- Su 11am- 6pm, Th 11am- 8pm
